Busy Busy Busy training!

The only reason I'm glad I'm deployed is because I'm in Africa and as you know its hot year round so I can continuously train!!! So far the program I am on is training or the KC Marathon next year. You wonder how this is helping my triathlon. Well my running is what I struggle on a lot so most of my training is running so far I'm up to 10 miles on my long run. Since the last time we have talked I have done a few 5K's and came in about 31 min time frame did a 10k and did that in 1:06 and did one 15k and that was 1:42:30. Got a few more 5k left till I go home and when I go home my races will start. in March I'm doing the Ruckus 4 mile obstacle course. In April I will be doing the Rock the Parkway 1/2 Marathon in May I will be doing the Warrior Dash 5K obstacle course and the  KC Triathlon sprint distance in June no race yet In July I have the Shawnee Mission Triathlon Sprint Distance Aug and Sept no race yet and then the big race in Oct my first KC Marathon and to end it out a Turkey Trot in Nov. So it will be a busy year for me!!!! Till next time blog ya all later!!!

My New Adventure Begins

Here's to starting somthing new. I've been running for six years due to being in the military but I was never good and I always strugled on the run. Im curently deployed and needing to pass PT to re-up. Im to the point I should pass. On this deployment I have found my love of running and I actually love to run now and I can run 2-4 miles at a time. I have always been a good swimmer due to doing competive swimming in high school and I know how to ride a bike. So I decide that I will blog my training for my Sprint Tri next year and as I go I will be doing 5k's and I will blog about those too. So here is to a new blog about my Tri journey. I hope you join me in my journey. Till next time " Keep on Swimming,Biking and Running"
